ORAMA Studio, a new artist collective, wants to think Polynesian culture in the present tense, through all creative disciplines : visual arts, architecture, design , dance, fashion, music, literature, and aims to be a laboratory of imagination, concepts, and ideas.
Our first event, an exhibition at the Museum of Tahiti and the islands, is titled ‘ŌRAMA , as their rallying name. ‘ŌRAMA, which can be translated by "vision" or "glow at sunset or sunrise, when one sees things taking shape on the horizon," is intended as a visual manifesto of their mission and future projects.
Exhibition opens until July 31st at the Musée de Tahiti et des Iles - Te Fare Manaha.
