The Tahiti- Moorea Marathon is run since 1988. Having become international , it welcomes runners from all walks of life , fond of racing out of the ordinary as well as many local runners .
This is the sporting event to the largest international character of the island of Moorea , leading the Commune of Moorea-Maiao to invest each year to its success. The number of participants reached in the best years nearly 1,500 participants across all races.
First you go there to discover French Polynesia destination and for its unique racing reputation with an idyllic arrived at the white sand beach of Temae .
A unique Marathon
Arrivals are made on the Temae public beach where numerous activities are planned.
The Tahiti-Moore Marathon is also the Maternathon Moorea. The Maternathon is a set of sports meetings between students of kindergartens Moorea. They are organized every year, thanks to the joint work of the Educational District of Moorea and the Organising Committee. Children are usually found on the beach of Temae and distrust around racing games, throwing, team sports, etc.
