Pension Taitaa

Guesthouse - Tubuai

Located on the island of Tubuai, at the entrance to the village of Mataura, Pension Taitaa is set in a large garden at the foot of the mountains. Narii, a native of the island, shares his passion for dance and woodcarving with his guests, while his wife Nathalie offers a cuisine combining European and local flavours. The guesthouse is divided into two parts: the main house, which houses communal areas such as the lounge area (board games, TV, free Wi-Fi access), the dining room where meals are taken, and a shared terrace; and another section reserved for the four bedrooms. Each room has a private bathroom, fan and mosquito net, with a view of the fruit trees in the garden. The beach and lagoon are just a 10-minute walk away. The guesthouse also offers activities for a fee, such as tours of the island, hikes or days on a motu with a picnic. A friendly, authentic family atmosphere not to be missed!
